From Pre-Partition Roots to a Fresh Start

Our founder, a proud member of this community, was already involved in the fabric industry well before the partition of the subcontinent. His life revolved around the sounds of looms and the precision of a tailor’s needle.

With this rich background, he made the move from India to Pakistan. In the 1960s, he started our journey with a small, traditional tailoring shop called Ansari Tailors and Traders. It was more than just a business; it was a haven for craftsmanship, where every piece of clothing was made with intention and pride.

A Passion That Spans Generations

For more than 55 years, that little shop became a trusted fixture in the community, known for its superb tailoring of traditional Shalwar Kameez and Kurta Pajama. Growing up in this environment, our father’s love for fashion became ingrained in us. We understood how heritage and style were connected, and felt the urge to share that with the world.

In 2023, we took a step to connect our family’s long-standing traditions with today’s digital landscape. We launched Ansari’s Attire, an online store built on the foundation of our father’s decades of hard work.
